Wollo Cultural Center
Wollo Cultural Center was first established around forty-two years ago in Dessie. Before being disbanded in 1990 it was highly popular among Ethiopians. The building you see above to the left, photographed in 1992, was where the group used to train and perform. On weekends it functioned as a cinema where we used to watch films mostly western, kung fu and Indian love and melancholic movies.
